WRAPPED eGIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these Wrapped eGift Card terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions)
carefully. Participation in this programme will constitute your agreement to comply
with
these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions,
please
do not participate in this programme.
All participants during the term of this programme agree to be bound by the
following
terms and conditions:
- The bearer of the eGift Card (hereinafter referred to as “the eGift Card”) may
redeem the eGift Card at any of the participating merchants in the Republic of
South
Africa. For a full list of participating merchants, please see: FAQ
- The eGift Card is valid for a period of 3 years from date of issue or upon full
redemption thereof, whichever occurs first. If the eGift Card has been
topped-up, it
will remain valid for a period of 3 years from date of top-up
- eGift Cards can only be linked to a single user account on Wrappedgifts.co.za
- The eGift Card may not be exchanged for cash.
- No cash change will be given on purchases made with the eGift Card.
- The purchase of
an eGift Card cannot be refunded i.e. you cannot change your mind about
purchasing
an eGift Card once the sale has been concluded and require a refund.
- eGift Cards
can be redeemed in conjunction with a cash payment when making a purchase
in-store
of a higher value than the amount available on the eGift Card.
- eGift Cards can be
used in full or for part payment of goods which you buy from the participating
merchants listed above at clause 1. Please note that whilst all eGift cards can
be
used for purchases in-store, not all eGift Cards can be used for online
purchases.
It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with each participating
merchants’
permitted eGift Cards transactions.
- If a participating merchant which ordinarily
permits on-line purchases using the eGift Cards is off-line, you will not be
able to
redeem an eGift Card at that specific participating merchant
- If your eGift Card
is lost or stolen, please open your “Transaction History” menu option, select
the
respective invoice number and search for the mobile number on the “Issue Gift
Cards”
screen. An option to resend the eGift Card is available if the eGift Card has
not
been redeemed or expired.
- WiGroup is not liable for any lost or stolen eGift Cards
once purchased.
- When you use your eGift Card, the amount of your purchase will be
deducted from the balance on the eGift Card.
- You will received your eGift Card
balances after every eGift Card transaction.
- All refunds of goods purchased with
an eGift Card will be made in accordance with the relevant participating
merchant’s
refund policy. Any authorised refunded amount will be credited to a eGift Card
and
will not be given to you in cash.
- Any purchase of an eGift card available on
www.wrappedgifts.co.za will be subject to these terms and conditions and those
of
the participating merchants at the time of purchasing.
- General:
- In accordance
with our confidentiality policies and practices, none of the details of
any
participant in the programme will be disclosed or used by us for any
purposes other
than for participation in the programme and in accordance with clause
16.3
below.
- Participants acknowledge and accept that we may utilise a third party to
contact the participant, in the event that the participant requires us
to
arrange
delivery of items purchased via the programme. In order to affect the
contacting and
delivery process, we may provide the participant’s information to such
third
party.
- Details of participants will not be used by the organizer for Wrapped
related communication should the participants opt-out to receive further
communication from us.
- Information regarding the programme that is published on
authorized advertising material will also form part of the terms and
conditions of
the Promotion.
- We may in our sole discretion amend these terms and conditions at
any time, without notice, and such amendments shall be deemed to have
taken
effect
from the date of publication of the revised terms and conditions on our
website. The
onus rests on the participant to constantly check the website for
updates to
the
terms and conditions.
- If this programme is interfered with in any way or is not
capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason
beyond our
reasonable control, including but not limited to technical difficulties,
unauthorized intervention or fraud, we reserve the right, in our sole
discretion, to
the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any participant;
or
(b) to
modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the programme as appropriate,
subject
to the
approval of relevant regulatory authorities.
- Save as permitted by Law, we
reserves the right to cancel, suspend or terminate this programme,
without
notice at
any time, and such cancellation, termination or termination shall be
deemed
to have
taken effect from the date of publication on our website. No liability
shall
lie
against us in favour of any participant and/ or third party arising from
such
cancellation, suspension or termination. Therefore the participant
waives
his/her
right which they may have against us and hereby acknowledge that they
will
have no
right of recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against us
- This programme
is governed by these terms and conditions.
- Any dispute or claim arising out of
or in connection with the programme shall be governed by and construed
in
accordance
with the laws of South Africa
- We accepts no liability or responsibility,
whether occasioned by any circumstance not foreseeable and not within
its
reasonable
control for late or delayed delivery of items purchased via the
programme
owing to,
but not limited to, stock unavailability, strike, lock out, destruction
of
goods on
route by any means, any civil commotion or disorder, riot, threat of
war,
any action
taken by governmental authority or public authority of any kind, fire,
explosion,
storm, flood, earth quake or other acts of God
- If part or all of any clause of
these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable:
- It will be
read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not
illegal,
invalid or
unenforceable, but if that is not possible; and
- It will be severed from these
Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Terms
and
Conditions will
continue to have full force and effect.
